Although pumas are the top predators in the Santa Cruz Mountains, they aren’t the only ones. Plenty of other carnivores share the landscape with them and munch on smaller animals. Coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and even some domestic animals play a part in controlling local rabbit and rodent populations.
